Gary Hernandez Martial Arts has many upcoming events for our students and school families. Refer to this page to find out about upcoming tournaments, promotion testing, school functions and other school related information.

We will also be posting news bulletins or other pertinent information regarding the school, its students, its instructors, or the Master. The calendar will also list these items as well. Make sure you print out the school calendar each month for easy reference.

School Closed for Labor Day  9/6/10  (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Gary Hernandez Martial Arts School will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2010 for Labor Day. There will be no regular classes that day. The school will reopen on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 for regular classes from 6 pm through 9 pm.

The School closed Tuesday Sept 14th Master Hernandez and Ms Karuna will be in a training class for a local cable TV show that night.

Joe Lewis Conference  10/7/10  (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Knife Fighting Seminar  10/16/10  (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Knife fighting seminar at Gary Hernandez Martial arts school 5536 Gall Blvd Zephyrhills FL 33542 (813)-782-0477. On Oct 16th From 11:am to 2::pm. Learn knife fighting skills as well as knife throwing skills.Learn knife fighting techniques that concentrated on in-close fighting against open hand attacks which included s...traight punches, haymakers, and wild swings. Also will work on fighting drills with knife to knife attacks.learn how to strike at opponents from both the standard knife holding and inverted positions with the use of zip cuts, C-cuts , S cuts and 7-cuts , thrusting forward with bayonet striking and stabbing. Will also be instructed on which areas of the human body would suffer the most amount of damage with the least amount of effort in a minimal amount of time.
